I have been very fortunate to have been part of the Āria Primary School whānau for the past 12 years as the Office Manager. Before joining the school staff, I was a member of the school board for six years, so Āria School has been a very special part of my life for many years. All three of my children also attended this amazing school.
I absolutely love working at Āria School. It is the people who make this school so special — the children, the staff and our wonderful rural community. There is such a strong family feel here, and I feel very lucky to be part of it.
One of the things I enjoy most about my role is getting to know the children and watching them grow and develop throughout their years at Āria. It is incredibly rewarding to see them become confident, resilient and caring young people, and I love being able to share in their successes, big and small.
We are incredibly lucky to have such a passionate and dedicated team of staff who genuinely care about every child. I love working alongside them, sharing plenty of laughs, supporting each other and working together to make Āria School the best it can be for our children.
After 12 years, Āria School truly feels like home to me. I am very proud to be part of this special school and community, and I look forward to continuing to enjoy the many wonderful moments, challenges and successes that come with being part of the Āria whānau.
Āria School is simply a fantastic place to work, learn, grow and belong — and I feel very lucky to be part of it.
